Stamford Brook In Minecraft?

Do your kids play Minecraft and would you like a constructive project to play Minecraft with them?

As a new Stamford Brook project for 2017 we are going to be working with a local tech-start - Chimni - that is trying to encourage young people to engage with design, planning & construction issues in the borough by recreating a part of the local area in Minecraft, the online PC game that claims 100M global users. Our project will be part of a wider 'Chiswick In Minecraft' initiative.

Stamford Brook Resident Francis Oliver Cherry, known as 'Frol', was one of the early participants in our House History project.  He originally contacted the BPRA (whose House History project kicked off last year), having read the article on Bricks & Brickmaking in Stamford Brook and Bedford Park on our site. Frol was intrigued because he owns a house in Stamford Brook built originally by Thomas Hussey who ran the brickfields that supplied many of the bricks used in Bedford Park and Stamford Brook.  See the video below to find out more:
